Jesus went into a house with his disciples and continued to explain the parables about the kingdom of God.
## Therefore, as the weeds are gathered up and burned with fire ##
This can be translated with active verbs: "Therefore, as people gather up weeds and burn them in the fire." (See: [[rc://en/ta/man/translate/figs-activepassive]])
## end of the world ##
"end of the age"
## The Son of Man will send forth his angels ##
Jesus is here speaking of himself. This can be translated "I, the Son of Man, will send forth my angels."
## those who commit iniquity ##
"those who do lawlessness" or "evil people"
## furnace of fire ##
<b>furnace of fire <b>- This can be translated "fiery furnace." If "furnace" is not known, "oven" can be used.
## shine forth like the sun ##
"be as easy to see as the sun" (See: [[rc://en/ta/man/translate/figs-simile]])
## He who has ears, let him listen ##
It may be more natural in some languages to use the second person: "You who have ears, listen" or "You have ears, so listen." (See: [[rc://en/ta/man/translate/figs-123person]])
