Definition

The term "caught up" or "took up" refers to God transporting a person in a powerful, supernatural manner, usually to heaven.

The apostle Paul talked about being "caught up" to the third heaven.
Paul said that when Christ comes back, Christians will be "caught up" together to meet him in the air.
In the Old Testament it says that God "took" Enoch (implied that he took him to heaven).
In the New Testament it is said that God miraculously "took away" Philip the evangelist to another region.
