# my God has become my strength
|
|
|
|
God giving the servant strength is spoken of as if God himself were his strength. AT: "my God has given me strength" or "my God has strengthened me" (See: [[rc://en/ta/man/translate/figs-metaphor]])

# I will make you a light to the Gentiles
|
|
|
|

# to the ends of the earth
|
|
|
|
The places on the earth that are very far away are spoken of as if they were the places where the earth ends. This phrase also forms a merism and refers to everywhere in between the ends.
