جب سموئیل چھوٹا لڑکا تھا خُدا نے رات کو سموئیل سے بات کی،اُسے بتایا کہ وہ عیلی کے خاندان کو سزا دے گا۔ جیسے سموئیل بڑا ہوا ،خُدا نے اُسے بہت سے پیغامات دیے۔ خُدا کا کیا کہنا تھا یہ جاننے کے لیے پورے اِسرائیل سے لوگ اُس کے پاس آئے ۔
