The queen was angry that Elijah had killed her prophets of Baal. She promised to kill Elijah. Elijah fled south into the desert south of Judah. He traveled on to Mount Horeb also known as Mount Sinai, the mountain of God. God asked him why he was there. He said he had come to Mount Horeb because Israel had deserted God, killed his prophets, and wanted to kill him. God sent him home to make Hazael the king of Aram, Jehu the king of Israel, and Elisha as the prophet in his place. ملکہ غصہ میں تھی کہ ایلیاہ نے اُس کے بعل کے نبیوں کو ہلاک کردیا۔ اُس نے وعدہ کیا کہ وہ ایلیاہ کو قتل کر دے گی۔ ایلیاہ جنوب میں یہوادہ کے جنوبی بیابان میں بھاگ گیا۔ اُس نے کوہِ حورب کی طرف سفر کیا جو کوہِ سیناہ، خُدا کا پہاڑ بھی جانا جاتا ہے۔ خُدا نے اُس سے پوُچھا کہ وہ وہاں کیا کر رہا تھا۔ اُس نے کہا کہ وہ کوہِ حورب پر اِس لیے آیا تھا کیونکہ اِسرائیل نے خُدا کو چھوڑ دیا، اُس کے نبیوں کو قتل کر دیا، اور اُسے بھی قتل کرنا چاہتے تھے۔ خُدا نے اُسے واپس بھیجا کہ حزائیل کو ارام کا بادشاہ بنائے، یاہُو کو اِسرائیل کا بادشاہ اور الِیشع کو اپنی جگہ نبی مقرر کرے (ملاحظہ کریں (See: [[rc://en/tw/dict/bible/kt/prophet]] and [[rc://en/tw/dict/bible/kt/promise]])
