Rapture
Scholars use the word “rapture” to talk about the time when Jesus will take his people from the earth. Jesus will resurrect Christians who have died. He will give them new bodies. These bodies will not die again. He will also give new bodies that will not die to Christians who are still alive (see: 1 Corinthians 15:50-54; 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18).
The word “rapture” is not in the Bible.

Scholars disagree about when the rapture will happen. Some scholars think the rapture will happen before the great tribulation. Some scholars think the rapture will happen during the great tribulation. Some scholars think the rapture will happen after the great tribulation.
