Many are walking ... as enemies of the cross of Christ

These words are Paul's main thought for this verse.

Many are walking

"Many people are living" or "Many are conducting their lives"

those about whom I have often told you, and now I am telling you with tears

Paul interrupts his main thought to say that he had already told them about these people.

am telling you with tears

"am telling you with great sadness"

as enemies of the cross of Christ

"in opposition to the teaching about Christ dying on the cross" or "in ways that show that they are against what Christ accomplished when he died on the cross"
