The word "you" is singular, referring to the hypothetical man. James is addressing his whole audience as if they were one person.

faith worked with his works, and that by works his faith was fully developed
Here, it is implied that "works" refers to things people do because they believe in God, such as obeying God's commands. James speaks as if "faith" and "works" were things that can work together and help each other. This can be restated to remove the abstract nouns "faith" and "works." Alternate translation: "because Abraham believed God, he did what God commanded him to do.
