Apollos was a Jew from the city of Alexandria in Greece who was well-educated in the Hebrew Scriptures and who was an eloquent speaker.

Apollos was instructed by two Christians in Ephesus named Aquila and Priscilla.
Paul emphasized how he (Paul), Apollos, and other teachers were part of a team working together in God's harvest.
