# integrity
## Definition
The term "integrity" refers to being honest, with strong moral principles and behavior, even when nobody else is observing.
* Certain characters in the Bible, such as Joseph and Daniel, showed integrity when they refused to participate in evil, but chose instead to obey God.
* The book of Proverbs says that it is better to be poor and have integrity than to be rich and have corrupt values.
