A feast is an event where a group of people take part in a very large meal, often to celebrate something together. The action "to feast" means to eat a large amount of food, often special kinds of food.

* The religious festivals that God commanded the Jews to celebrate often included having a feast together. For this reason the festivals are often called "feasts."
