Inspired

The Bible is “inspired.” That is, God gave the writers of the Bible the words to write in the Bible. It was as if God wrote these words himself. So God is actually the author of the Bible even though humans wrote it (see: 2 Timothy 3:16-17; see also 2 Peter 1:21). Both the Old Testament and the New Testament are inspired.
