# Offrande pour le péché
The "sin offering" was one of several sacrifices that God required the Israelites to offer. For this offering, a priest would sacrifice a bull, burn its blood and fat on the altar, and burn the rest of the animal’s body outside of the Israelite camp (see: Exodus 29:12-14, 36; 30:10; Leviticus 4; Ezekiel 43:18-27). The sin offering atoned for people sinning.
L'offrande pour le péché était un sacrifice parmi beaucoup d'autres sacrifices que Dieu demandait à Israël de lui offrir. Pour cette offrande, le sacrificateur pouvait offrir un boeuf, brûler son sang et ses graisses sur l'autel, et brûler le reste du corps de l'animal au dehors du camp d'Israël (voir Exodus 29:12-14,36; 30:10; Léviticus 4; Ezechiel 43:18-27). L'offrande du péché couvrait les péchés du peuple.
The Bible teaches that blood must be shed for a sin someone committed in order for God to forgive the person who sinned. When a person gave a sin offering, blood was shed for the sin and God forgave the person who sinned. When the person sinned again, they gave a sin offering again. This is because animal sacrifices could not atone for sin forever. But when Jesus died for people sinning, he perfectly atoned for sin forever. Jesus was the perfect sin offering (see: Hebrews 10:1-18).
La Bible enseigne que le sang doit être versé pour le péché qu'une personne a commis, afin que Dieu puisse lui pardonner. Lorsqu'une personne offrait le sacrifice pour le péché, le sang était ainsi versé et Dieu lui pardonnait ses péchés. Si la personne péchait de nouveau, une nouvelle offrande pour le péché devrait être offerte. La raison en était que les sacrifices des animaux ne pouvaient pas couvrir le péché pour toujours. Mais lorque Jésus est mort pour le peuple pécheur, Il a parfaitement couvert leur péchés pour toujours. Jesus était l'offrande parfaite pour le péché (Hebrew 10:1-18).
