Seth was the third son of Adam and Eve mentioned in the Bible.

Eve said that Seth was given to her in place of Abel, who was murdered by his brother Cain.
Seth is the ancestor of Noah and of everyone else who has lived since then.
The descendants of Seth were the first to be said to "call on the name of the Lord."
