Ramah was an ancient Israelite city located about 8km north of Jerusalem. in Benjamin near Gibeon.

Ramah was located in the area where the descendants of Jacob's wife Rachel lived.
When the Israelites were taken captive to Babylon, they were first brought to Ramah before moving to Babylon.
Ramah was the home of Samuel's mother and father.
