Definition

Jonah was a Hebrew prophet in the Old Testament.

The book of Jonah tells about when God sent Jonah to Nineveh.
God told Jonah to go to Nineveh and tell the people to turn from their sins.
Jonah refused and went on a ship to go to another country.
The men in the ship threw Jonah out of it, and a large fish swallowed him.
Jonah was in the belly of the fish for three days.
Jonah went to Nineveh and preached to the people, and they turned from their sins.
