Habakkuk

Facts

Habakkuk was an Old Testament prophet who probably lived during the reign of King Jehoiakim of Judah.

This prophet wrote the book of Habakkuk before Jerusalem was captured by the Babylonians around 600 BC.
Habakkuk prophesied mostly about the Chaldeans (Babylonians) and was an early contemporary of the prophet Jeremiah.
One of Habakkuk's most influential statements is: "the righteous person shall live by his faith."
