Définition :
Dans la Bible, le terme "le mal" peut désigner soit le concept de la méchanceté morale, soit celui de la malveillance émotionnelle. Le contexte indiquera normalement quel sens est donné dans l’instance spécifique du terme.
- Le terme "mauvais", qui veut dire "qui n’est pas bon", s'applique le plus souvent au caractère d’une personne, alors que le terme "méchant" s’applique plutôt à un acte qui est malveillant" et se rapporte au comportement d'une personne. Cependant, les deux termes ont une signification très comparable.
- Le terme "méchanceté" désigne l’état d’être qui existe lorsque les gens font des choses "mauvaises".
- Les résultats d’un "mauvais esprit" sont clairement démontrés par les actions de ceux qui tuent, volent, diffament ou sont cruels et déplaisants.

- Le terme "mauvais" peut être traduit par "pas bon", "méchant", "détestable", "défectueux", "incompétent", "dangereux", "qui cause du mal" ou "immoral".
- Assurez-vous que les mots ou phrases qui sont utilisés pour traduire ces termes correspondent au contexte et sont naturels dans la langue cible.
