# Zedekiah # ## Facts: ## Zedekiah, son of Josiah, was the last king of Judah (597-587 B.C.). There are also several other men named Zedekiah in the Old Testament. * King Nebuchadnezzar made Zedekiah king of Judah after capturing King Jehoiachin and taking him away to Babylon. Zedekiah later rebelled and as a result Nebuchadnezzar captured him and destroyed all of Jerusalem. * Zedekiah, son of Kenaanah, was a false prophet during the time of King Ahab of Israel. * A man named Zedekiah was one of those who signed an agreement to the Lord during the time of Nehemiah.
