# Hagar # ## Facts: ## Hagar was an Egyptian woman who was Sarai's personal slave. * When Sarai was not able to bear children, she gave Hagar to her husband Abram to have a child by him. * Hagar conceived and gave birth to Abram's son Ishmael. * God watched over Hagar when she was in distress in the desert and promised to bless her descendants.
