* **It happened** - This phrase is used here to mark the beginning of a new part of the story. If your language has a way for doing this, you could consider using it here.
* **And behold, a man from the crowd** - The word "behold" alerts us to the new person in the story. Your language may have a way of doing this. English uses "There was a man in the crowd who said…”
* **and behold, a spirit** - The word "behold" introduces us to the evil spirit in the man's story. Your language may have a way of doing this. English uses "There was an evil spirit…”
* **it departs from him with difficulty** - Possible meanings for this are 1) "It hardly ever leaves my child" (UDB) or 2) "It is so hard on my son when it leaves him that..."
* **foaming at the mouth** - When a person has a seizure, they can have trouble breathing or swallowing. This causes white foam to form around their mouths. If you language has a way to describe that, you should use it.
