Deleting a branch is permanent. Although the deleted branch may continue to exist for a short time before it actually gets removed, it CANNOT be undone in most cases. Continue?
\q
\v 21 'Hear this, you foolish people
\q2 who have no understanding;
\q2 who have eyes but you cannot see,
\q2 and you have ears but you cannot hear.
In Jer 3:21 "and" conjoins a relative clause and an indpendant clause.
It's awkward both for reading and for formatting as poetry
I suggest the following.
\q
\v 21 'Hear this, you foolish people
\q2 who have no understanding;
\q you have eyes but you cannot see,
\q2 and you have ears but you cannot hear.
I agree your change is better. I'm ok with making the change now or waiting until a future revision.
I made the change.
No changes needed to TN.
