5:1

-\v 1 We know that if the earthly dwelling that we live in is destroyed, we have a building from God. It is a house not made by human hands, but an eternal house, in heaven.
+\v 1 We know that if our earthly tent home is destroyed, we have a building from God. It is a house not made by human hands, but an eternal house, in heaven.
\v 1 We know that if **our earthly house—the tent—**is destroyed, we have a building from God. It is a house not made by human hands, but an eternal house, in heaven.

This one is difficult no matter what. I like what is currently in the ULB best.

SQ. I agree.

2 Cor 5:16

\v 16 For this reason, from now on we do not judge anyone according to human standards, even though we once regarded Christ in this way. But now we do not judge anyone in this way any longer.
\v 16 For this reason, from now on we do not recognize anyone according to the flesh, even though we once knew Christ according to the flesh. But now we no longer know.
\v 16 For this reason, from now on we do not recognize anyone according to the flesh, even though we once knew Christ according to the flesh. But now we no longer know.

Overall, I am fine with these changes. Depending on what we decide to do with "flesh" in the previous commit, we may need to do the same here.

SQ.
I have trouble with this.

recognize - Its secondary senses are not so common. Unless people look at the note, they won't know that it does not have to do with simply identifying who someone is. I think "look at" "see" would be better.

but now we no longer know." We no longer know what? I think it needs an object and "in that way." Otherwise it looks like we no longer know the object at all. Also "know Christ" sounds relational, where this is more about perception or judgment/opinion.

\v 16 For this reason, from now on we do not 1492 anyone according to the flesh, even though we once 1097 Christ according to the flesh. But now we no longer 1097.

Suggested change:
\v 16 For this reason, from now on we do not look at anyone according to the flesh, even though we once perceived Christ according to the flesh. But now we no longer perceive him that way.

JH. What do you think of "regard" instead of "look at"? A lot of translation use that word here, but it is not on a tW page where 1492 is listed. Maybe we could add it. If not, what about "think about" instead of "look at"?

SQ
I like "regard." But it is listed on the tW pages for "honor" and "judge".
G1492 is on the pages for acknowledge, know, and understand.
G1097 is on the pages for know and understand.

\v 16 For this reason, from now on we do not think about anyone according to the flesh, even though we once understood (1097) Christ according to the flesh. But now we no longer understand (1097) him that way.

Changed to
\v 16 For this reason, from now on we do not regard anyone according to the flesh, even though we once regarded Christ according to the flesh. But now we no longer regard him that way.
