ULB Job 3:26 currently reads:
\v 26 I am not at ease, I am not quiet, and I have no rest;
\q trouble comes instead."
ULB Job 3:26 suggested changes:
\v 26 I am not at ease, I am not at peace,
\q and I am not at rest, but trouble has comes."
Tom W.
"I am not quiet" vs "I am not at peace"
ULB is adequate as long as we have a tN.
"and I have no rest" vs "and I am not at rest"
ULB is adequate
"and I have no rest; \q" vs "\q and I am not at rest"
Heb: the first 3 verbs are perfect, and the last is imperfect.
Heb has what looks like an em-dash before the last verb.
Versions vary in how they divide the clauses:
Some versions have 3+1 and some have 2+2.
Location of line break is adequate
"trouble comes instead" vs "but trouble has come"
No versions have "instead" but 3 use "only"
ULB is adequate
Agreed. I am not closing it because I was unclear whether your statement indicated that you looked over the tN or need to look it over.
Thanks. I added to the tN.
