ULB 2Ch 25:4 currently reads:

\v 4 But he did not put the children of the murderers to death, but acted according to what was written in the law, in the book of Moses, as Yahweh had commanded, "The fathers must not die for the children, nor must the children die for the fathers. Instead, every person must die for his own sin."

ULB 2Ch 25:4 suggested changes:

\v 4 But he did not put their children to death, according to what was written in the law in the book of Moses, as Yahweh had commanded, "The fathers must not die for the children, and children must not be put to death for their fathers; each one must die for his own sin."

the children versus their children
I agree with Tom's suggestion to change to "their." In the parallel passage in 2 Kings 14:6 we have "sons" instead of "children." I would prefer to make these two verses the same.

but acted according to what versus according to what
In the parallel passage in 2 Kings, we changed this to "according to what**

in the law, in the book of Moses versus in the law in the book of Moses
It seems to me that a comma should be after "law." NIV has a comma. ULB adequate.

The fathers must not die for the children, nor must the children die for the fathers. Instead, every person must die for his own sin versus The fathers must not die for the children, and children must not be put to death for their fathers; each one must die for his own sin

I am not sure why Tom only changed one part of the verse. Both parts of the verse should either say "must not die for" or "must not be put to death."

I vote for "must not be put to death." This matches the parallel verse.

Instead, every person versus each one
I vote for "But each one" to translate כִּ֛י and match parallel verse.

I think their children aligns with the Hebrew text well. I think "must not be put to death" works. Agree with other suggestions.

ULB now reads:

But he did not put their children to death, according to what was written in the law, in the book of Moses, as Yahweh had commanded, "The fathers must not be put to death for their children, and children must not be put to death for their fathers. But, each one must die for his own sin."

I updated the notes.
