\v 27 So Yahweh said that he would not blot out the name of Israel under heaven; instead, he saved them by the hand of Jeroboam son of Jehoash.

I agree with Tom that the original should be changed, but I think we can word it a little better.

Suggestions:

I agree with Tom that the original should be changed, but I think we can word it a little better. Suggestions: \v 27 **And because** Yahweh had not said that he would blot out the name of Israel from under heaven, **he** delivered them by the hand of Jeroboam son of Jehoash. or \v 27 **But Yahweh** had not said that he would blot out the name of Israel from under heaven, **so he** delivered them by the hand of Jeroboam son of Jehoash.
