ULB 1Ki 14:9-10

\v 9 Instead, you have done evil, more than all who were before you. You have made other gods, and you have cast metal images to provoke me to anger, and have thrust me behind your back.
\v 10 Therefore, look, I will bring disaster on your family; I will cut off from you every male child in Israel, whether slave or free, and will completely remove the family of Jeroboam like someone who burns up dung until it is gone.

ULB 1Ki 14:9-10

\v 9 You have done more evil than all who were before you. You have made other gods for yourself and you have cast metal images to provoke me to anger, and you have thrown me behind your back.
\v 10 Therefore look, I will bring disaster to the house of Jeroboam and will cut off from you every male, both slave and free. I will completely destroy the house of Jeroboam, as one burns up dung until it is all gone.

You have made other gods **for yourself** and you have cast metal images to provoke me to anger, **and you have** thrown me behind your back. \v 10 Therefore look, I will bring disaster **to the house of Jeroboam** **and will** cut off from you every **male**, **both slave and free**. **I will** completely **destroy** the **house** of Jeroboam, **as one burns** up dung until it is all gone. 9 "Instead, you have done" vs "You have done"
ULB is adequate

9 "evil, more than" vs "more evil than"
ULB is more literal
ULB is adequate

9 "to anger, and have thrust" vs "to anger, and you have thrown"
The ULB phrases aren't parallel.
"to anger, and you have thr.." would be better.
ULB has "thrust" 15 times.
"Thrust" is adequate.

9 "other gods" vs "other gods for yourself"
Hebrew: לְּךָ֩ 'for you'
Suggestion is more literal.
But ULB is adequate

10 "on your family" vs "to the house of Jeroboam"
Is ULB too paraphrastic?
I think change to "on the house of Jeroboam"

10 "I will cut off" vs "and will cut off"
ULB is adequate

10 every male child in Israel" vs "every male"
KJV: him that pisseth against the wall,
Only 3 versions have "child"
But "male child" is adequate
25 versions have "in Israel"
"In Israel" is adequate

10 "whether slave or free" vs "both slave and free"
ULB is adequate

10 ", and will" vs ". I will"
ULB is adequate

"remove" vs "destroy"
Other versions: burn up, sweep away, take away, wipe out
ULB is adequate

"the family of Jeroboam" vs "the house of Jeroboam"
Suggestion is more literal and is like the rest of the ULB.
I think change "family" to "house".

"like someone who burns up" vs "as one burns up"
ULB is adequate

Agreed. Is the tN adequate for thrust here?

Made ULB changes and updated tNs.

This was the tN for "thrust". I think it's adequate.
thrust me behind your back
Jeroboam has disrespected Yahweh like a person throws away something that is not wanted. Alternate translation: "completely rejected me" (See: rc://en/ta/man/jit/figs-metaphor)
