ULB 1Ki 9:22 currently reads:

\v 22 However, Solomon made no forced laborers of the people of Israel. Instead, they became his soldiers and his servants, his officials, and his officers and commanders of his chariot forces and his horsemen.

ULB 1Ki 9:22 suggested change:

\v 22 But from the people of Israel Solomon made no slaves. The Israelites were the men of war, his servants, his officials, his officers, his commanders, his chariot commanders, and his horsemen.

"However" seems a bit strong when v 20 had already hinted that Solomon would not make forced laborers of the people of Israel.
But ULB is adequate.

"forced laborers" vs "slaves"
v 21 לְמַס־ עֹבֵ֔ד ULB: forced laborers
v 22 עָ֑בֶד ULB: forced laborers
ULB is adequate.

"of the people of Israel" vs "from the people of Israel"
ULB is adequate.

"Solomon ...of the people of Israel" vs "from the people of Israel Solomon ..."

"Instead" vs Ø
Hebrew: כִּי־
Instead - 2 versions
Some versions have nothing, some have "but" and some have "for/because".
I think it would be good to delete "Instead"

Hebrew: no verb
NLT: he assigned them
Most versions of they were or they served.
These men had probably already been serving in these roles.
I think it would be good to change "became" to "were".

It doesn't appear to put them in groups
I think it would be good to get rid of the extra "and"s.
