\v 25 They have made a bed among all the multitude of Elam, all around her grave.
\q All of them are uncircumcised, pierced by the sword, because they had brought their terrors on the land of the living.
\q So they carry their own shame, together with the ones going down to the pit among all those who have been killed, those who are going down to the pit. Elam is among all those who were killed.

I think we need only one phrase about people going down to the pit.

There's a bit of a UDB-ism at work here, so yes, a change is in order. The first "to the pit" translates אֶל־אֶ֣רֶץ תַּחְתִּיֹּ֗ות

†תַּחְתִּי S8482 TWOT2504b GK9397 adj. and subst. lower, lowest (places)

"the lower parts of the earth."

The second "pit" translates בֹֽור, "pit."

I'm looking at Bible Hub.
I see בֹֽור, H953[e],
but I don't see †תַּחְתִּי or S8482

Am I looking at the wrong Hebrew text?

No, I was looking at v. 24. Sheesh.

It looks like 32:25 also has repetition in the last line concerning those who were killed. So it's two cases of repetition in the last line.

Trying to untangle the Hebrew, here is my suggestion:

Among those who were killed, they have made a bed for her, with her multitude all around her grave.
All of them are uncircumcised, pierced by the sword, because they had brought their terrors on the land of the living.
So they carry their shame with those who go down to the pit; they are laid among those who were killed.

John's suggestion is much clearer.

I still have trouble understanding the first line in any version. Is this the picture?
There is a cemetery and people who have been killed are buried there.
Soldiers of Elam have just died.
Some unnamed group of people have dug a grave for them (a bed).
Is "her grave" the new grave?
Who are the multitudes? The dead bodies waiting to be dumped in?

I'm not positive. That's what made the Hebrew so hard to untangle. I just tried to stay as close to the Hebrew as possible.

@TomWarren, there's some unnecessary repetition in Ezk 32:25. What do you think of making
the following changes?

Current ULB:
\v 25 They have made a bed among all the multitude of Elam, all around her grave.
\q All of them are uncircumcised, pierced by the sword, because they had brought their terrors on the land of the living.
\q So they carry their own shame, together with the ones going down to the pit among all those who have been killed, those who are going down to the pit. Elam is among all those who were killed.

Suggested ULB: (John's July 24 suggestion)
\v 25 Among those who were killed, they have made a bed for her, with her multitude all around her grave.
\q All of them are uncircumcised, pierced by the sword, because they had brought their terrors on the land of the living.
\q So they carry their shame with those who go down to the pit; they are laid among those who were killed.

I updated the ULB.

It was hard to untangle the meaning of this verse in the notes, so I just tried to make them consistent with the notes of the surrounding verses.

Please review the notes. You can close this issue when the notes are approved.

The notes looked good. I just combined the notes about "they had brought their terrors on the land of the living" and "the land of the living."

they had brought their terrors on the land of the living
The abstract noun "terror" can be stated as "afraid." The phrase "the land of the living" represents people who were alive. Alternate translation: "they had caused those who are in the land of the living to be extremely afraid" (See: rc://en/ta/man/jit/figs-abstractnouns and rc://en/ta/man/jit/figs-metonymy)
