Mat 6:1
\v 1 "Watch out that you do not do your acts of righteousness before people to be seen by them, or else you will have no reward from your Father who is in heaven.

Phrase: "Watch out" ...

Watch out seems to be the warning of a sentry.
Options:
Be careful
Beware (of practicing)
Take heed
Make certain

Suggestion for Mat 6:1
\v 1 "Be careful not to do your deeds of righteousness before other people, to be seen by them. If you do, you will have no reward from your Father who is in heaven.

If Jesus meant it as a warning, I don't think "watch out" is bad.

The dictionary on my computer gives these two example sentences.
watch out for broken glass.
credit-card fraud is on the increase, so watch out.

Some versions have "Beware," which is also used for warnings.

I'd be ok with "Be careful not to ...", but I think the current ULB is ok.

I am so out of touch with the form of the tN, it has probably been 4 years since I touched them. The information we could include:

Watch out- This can also be translated as beware of. It was a way to warn people to be careful not to do something.

Thanks. I added it like this.

Watch out
This is a way to warn people to be careful. Alternate translation: "Be careful" or "Beware"
