Acts 10:10

\v 10 He then became hungry and wanted something to eat, but while the people were cooking some food, he was given a vision,
\v 10 He then became hungry and wanted something to eat, but while the people were cooking some food, a trance came on him,
Current ULB is the same

The word "trance" occurs in the ULB in only 3 verses.

11:5
"I was praying in the city of Joppa, and in a trance I saw a vision of a container coming down, like a large sheet let down from heaven by its four corners. It descended to me.

22:17
After I had returned to Jerusalem, and while I was praying in the temple, a trance came on me.

It looks like it is there because in Acts 11:5 Peter said that he saw a "vision" in a "trance".

I am fine with "trance" in these verses.
It is explained in the TNs.

12:14
\v 14 When she recognized Peter's voice, out of joy she failed to open the door; instead, she came running into the room; she reported that Peter was standing at the door.
\v 14 When she recognized Peter's voice, out of joy she failed to open the door; instead, she came running into the room; she reported that Peter was standing at the gate.

I'm fine with the change.

Should the word "door" before that also be "gate?" Both have πυλών G4440. (12:13 has "door of the gate")

JH: Yes, I think it should be "gate" in both places.

Tom, would you make this change, please?

The GRK at Act 12:13 has "door of the gate" and it should stand.
τὴν θύραν τοῦ πυλῶνος
door of the gate. ...

\v 13 When he knocked at the door θύραν of the gate πυλῶνος, a servant girl named Rhoda came to answer.
\v 14 When she recognized Peter's voice, out of joy she failed to open the gate πυλῶνα,; instead, she came running into the room; she reported that Peter was standing at the gate. πυλῶνα,

Door of the gate is correct...

No change needed.

Thanks.
