Mat 25:16

\v 16 The one who received the five talents went at once and invested them and made another five talents.
\v 16 The one who received the five talents went at once and put them to work and gained another five talents.

Current ULB is the same.

The Greek has ἐργάζομαι, so "work" is a literal translation, but "put them to work" seems to be introducing an English idiom. It may be ok since some other translation use that wording. Other options: "went at once and traded with them" or "went at once to work with them"

SQ. I like the more literal "work." I prefer not to introduce an English idiom. I think "went at once to work with them" could be mistaken for "took them at once to (his place of) work."
