2Ch 28:10

\v 10 And now you, people of Judah and Jerusalem, intend to make them your male slaves and female slaves. But are you not guilty of sins of your own against Yahweh your God?

Hi Stacy, there is a single error in the ULB of 2 Chronicles. It's in 28:10, apparently due to vague language in the underlying ASV. It currently reads:

That is, the speaker is addressing "you people of Judah and Jerusalem."

In fact, he is addressing Israel and is saying "And now you intend to make the people of Judah and Jerusalem your male and female slaves." That is the amended text I suggest for the ULB.

The UDB has it correct with its, "And now you want to sin by causing men and women from Judah to become your slaves". This aligns with other English versions, the original, etc.

That's it for 2 Chronicles! Gary

I wholeheartedly agree. It would be good to change the first sentence.
