For this is the will of my Father, that everyone who sees the Son and believes in him would have eternal life and I will raise him up on the last day.

The word "would" gives the feeling of counterfactual, as if God wills it, but it won't happen.

Other versions have these:
shall have
should have
will have
may have

NET BIble: For this is the will of my Father--for everyone who looks on the Son and believes in him to have eternal life,

Though there are slight differences, I'd be fine with any of them, except "would have".
