\v 10 For it was proper for God, because everything exists for him and through him, to bring many sons to glory. It was proper for him to make the founder of their salvation complete through his sufferings.
I don't see any version that asserts that it was proper for God to bring many sons to glory. That is simply what he was doing.
Suggestion: Take out the extra "it was proper" and reword. I'll try make it like the ULB in not being one long complex sentence.
\v 10 For God was bringing many sons to glory. And because everything exists for him and through him, it was proper for him to make the founder of their salvation complete through his sufferings.
or
For everything exists for God and through him. So in bringing many sons to glory, it was proper for him to make the founder of their salvation complete through his sufferings.
or
For everything exists for God and through him, and he was bringing many sons to glory. So it was proper for him to make the founder of their salvation complete through his sufferings.
