From email from Gary Shogren, theological checker for SUN translation.

There is also inconsistency in the ULB, sometimes human "kings" are capitalized, sometimes not, and that even in the same chapter.

I did a search on "the King" and found some cases where we might want to change it to "the king." Other searches need to be done to see if "King" is capitalized when it should not be.

Mrk 15 Perhaps king should be lower case here since Pilate was not thinking of the possibility of Jesus being God.
\v 2 Pilate asked him, "Are you the King of the Jews?"
\v 9 Pilate answered them and said, "Do you want me to release to you the King of the Jews?"
\v 12 Pilate answered them again and said, "What then should I do with the King of the Jews?"

Mark 15: It probably is fine to live King upper case in 15:32, because the chief priests were probably saying that Jesus is not God. That was their point.
\v 32 Let the Christ, the King of Israel, come down now from the cross, that we may see and believe." Those who were crucified with him also insulted him.

Luk 23 has the same issue.
\v 3 Pilate asked him, saying, "Are you the King of the Jews?"

John 12. It looks like upper case is appropriate here.
\v 13 they took the branches of the palm trees and went out to meet him and cried out, "Hosanna! Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord, the King of Israel."

John 18
\v 33 Then Pilate entered the government headquarters again and called Jesus and he said to him, "Are you the King of the Jews?"
\v 39 But you have the custom that I release one person to you at the Passover. So do you want me to release the King of the Jews to you?"

Also from Stacy's 10/7/22 email: Gary noticed that in 1 Samuel 18:6, king is incorrectly capitalized in the ULB.

\v 6 As they came home from defeating the Philistines, the women came from all the cities of Israel, singing and dancing, to meet King Saul, with tambourines, with joy, and with musical instruments.

My Comment: "King" is correctly capitalized here.
