From Audio Team
ULB spelling of the following words isn't consistent with ESV or Biblical Pronounciations:
Karmi, Kephirah, Negev, Akshaph, Kinnereth, Salekah, Goyim, Byblos, Makir
No verses were listed on the audio team's tracking spreadsheet.
Do we want to look for these words in Joshua to try and figure why they were translated that way in the ULB, or just leave it?
We typically followed the spelling of the NIV.
NIV:
Karmi 7:1
Kephirah 9:17
Negev 10:40
Akshaph 11:1
Kinnereth 11:2
Salekah 12:5
Goyim 12:23
Byblos 13:5 (ULB has a footnote about this word)
Makir 13:31
I think we should leave as is, since this was our policy throughout the ULB.
Sounds good.
