\v 4 The casting of lots for the clans of the Kohathites gave this result: The priests—the descendants of Aaron who were from the Levites—received thirteen cities given from the tribe of Judah, from the tribe of the Simeon, and from the tribe of Benjamin.

A very literal translation would have "from the tribe of the Simeonite".
Four versions in BibleHub have "from the tribe of the Simeonites"
Most versions have "from the tribe of Simeon". I think this would be adequate.

Agree with removing "the." It keeps the pattern with the other tribes mentioned.

22-01 branch now reads:

No changes needed in tN.
