\v 26 These two men were the Aaron and Moses to whom Yahweh said, "Bring out the people of Israel from the land of Egypt, by their hosts."
\v 27 Aaron and Moses spoke to Pharaoh, king of Egypt, to allow them bring out the people of Israel from Egypt. These were the same Moses and Aaron.
ISSUE: Word missing from first sentence as written.
ALSO: The words "allow them" are not in the Hebrew. UBS comment on v.27: "This is not a request for the king to bring them out, but rather a demand that he permit Moses and Aaron to bring them out."
SUGGESTION:
\v 27 Aaron and Moses spoke to Pharaoh king of Egypt in order to bring the people of Israel out of Egypt. These were the same Moses and Aaron.
EXO 6:27 Aaron and Moses spoke to Pharaohto EXO 6:27 to allow them bring outI agree with removing "allow". It seems to be adding something to the the text. Most English translations have one of these:
I'm not sure about removing the commas around "king of Egypt." We have 10 verses with commas and 7 without. The only difference I see is which book of the Bible they are in. They are consistent within books
I like this change but I don't know if it is necessary:
bring out the people of Israel from Egypt
bring the people of Israel out of Egypt
I made the change concerning "allow". I did not make the other changes.
\v 27 Aaron and Moses spoke to Pharaoh, king of Egypt, in order to bring out the people of Israel from Egypt. These were the same Moses and Aaron.
