\v 25 And it is evident that the Babylonian army will soon conquer this city. So now, I do not understand why you told me to buy this field with my silver while others were watching. It seems that I have just been wasting my money by doing that!"
ISSUE: The bolded text (from TFT) is not at all in the Heb and is an unnecessary speculative addition to the Biblical text.
Suggest deleting the bolded text to make the UDB of v.25:
\v 25 And it is evident that the Babylonian army will soon conquer this city. So now, I do not understand why you told me to buy this field with my silver while others were watching."
The edit for Jer 32:25 improves the text.
The UDB now reads:
\v 25 And it is evident that the Babylonian army will soon conquer this city. So now, I do not understand why you told me to buy this field with my silver while others were watching."
