# Macedonia # ## Facts: ## In New Testament times, Macedonia was a Roman province located just north of ancient Greece. * Some important Macedonian cities mentioned in the Bible were Berea, Philippi and Thessalonica. * Through a vision, God told Paul to preach the gospel to the people in Macedonia. * Paul and his coworkers went to Macedonia and taught the people there about Jesus and helped the new believers to grow in their faith. * In the Bible there are letters that Paul wrote to the believers in the Macedonian cities of Philippi and Thessalonica.
