Deleting a branch is permanent. Although the deleted branch may continue to exist for a short time before it actually gets removed, it CANNOT be undone in most cases. Continue?
The second bullet is this.
Since Col 1:12 no longer uses "qualified," I think we should delete this bullet.
Col 1:12
\v 12 giving thanks to the Father, who made you able \f + \ft Some ancient Greek copies read, \fqa who made us able \fqa* . \f* to have a share in the inheritance of God's holy people in light.
Agreed.
Col 1:12 giving thanks to the Father, who made you able \f + \ft Some ancient Greek copies read, \fqa who made us able \fqa* . \f* to have a share in the inheritance of God’s holy people in light.
2 Cor 3:6 It is God who made us able to be servants of a new covenant. This is a covenant not of the letter but of the Spirit. For the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life.
These are the only verses that use H2427. It is translated as "enabled" "made fit/competent/sufficient" or "qualified" in other versions. H2427 is not on any tW. See Issue 69.
Are we supposed to have every strong's word on at least 1 TW?
I don't think so. I think it was this:
The Strong's number of every word that an entry is about should be listed on the page -- especialy if we have used the tWs_for_PDFs text files (in WACS) to say that the meaning of a word is in a certain tW entry.
@JohnH
Since it is only in 2 places, and we have it translated as "make able," which should be fairly simple to understand, I think we can leave it off.
Thanks. I deleted the second bullet in the definition about "qualified" in Colossians. I won't add G2427 to the Word Data.
I let Mary Ellen know about this.
