## I am about to form disaster against you. I am about to devise a plan against you ##

## form disaster ##
Yahweh refers to disaster as something he forms as a person would form clay. AT: "shape" or "create" (See: [[rc://en/ta/man/translate/figs-metaphor]])
## devise ##
"think of " or "plan" or "create"
## his wicked path ##
AT: "his wicked way of living" (See: [[rc://en/ta/man/translate/figs-idiom]])
## your ways and your practices ##
The words "ways" and "practices" basically mean the same thing and are used together to emphasize that their whole way of living has to change. (See: [[rc://en/ta/man/translate/figs-doublet]])

The word "they" refers to the inhabitants of Judah and Jerusalem.
## This is no use ##
AT: "We have no hope"
## what his evil, stubborn heart desires ##
