גִּבֹּ֥ור חַ֨יִל֙ I have regularized this to "mighty warrior" in every context in which war seems to be in focus. For others, it is "man of great ability" or "man of great wealth." I'm operating under the hypothesis that this is a dead metaphor that has a literal version, like the English "trooper."
