118 psalms have a "superscription" marked with \d.
These show up in the ULB in BTT writer

The Psalms intro tN file and 20 chapter intro tN files have notes about the "Superscription."
However, the book intro tNs and chapter intro tNs don't show up in BTT writer.

Some verse 1 tN files have notes for parts of the superscriptions, but not explaining the superscription as a whole. (It is explained in the Psalms intro https://content.bibletranslationtools.org/WycliffeAssociates/en_tn/src/branch/master/psa/front/intro.md.)

Since BTT Writer does not show the book and chapter intros, Chris and I were thinking of adding a note for verse 1 with the whole superscription as a snippet.

For the chief musician; on stringed instruments, set to the Sheminith style. A psalm of David.
This is a superscription that tells about the psalm. Some scholars say that this is part of the scripture and some say that it is not.

Also, could we change the word "superscription" to "heading"? Or do we want to reserve the word "heading" for the clearly paratextual headings that translators/publishers put in to help the readers?

Chris showed me the correct syntax for linking to Psalms front/intro.md.
"Introduction to Psalms" in square brackets, followedmby "../../front/intro.md" in parentheses.

I dealt with the superscriptions that are not simply "A psalm of David".
John will do the notes for "A psalm of David."
