Mrk 4:16 Issue 3377

I deleted the link to metaphor.
I deleted the link to metonymy since it is not part of this verse.
I deleted my confusing sentences contrasting what the seed represented in v14 (the word) and what it represents in 15 (the people).

# these are the seed sown on the rocky ground # these are the seed sown on the rocky ground
"These people are the seeds that fall on the rocky ground" or "These people are like seeds that fall on the rocky ground." In [verse 14](./14.md), what the sower sows is "the word." Here Jesus speaks of what the sower sows as those who hear the word. (See: [[rc://en/ta/man/jit/figs-metonymy]] and [[rc://en/ta/man/jit/figs-metaphor]]) "These people are the seeds that fall on the rocky ground" or "These people are like seeds that fall on the rocky ground"
