Verb
A verb is a category of words.
A verb can be an action.
A verb can describe a situation or how something is.
It is meant to say that some verbs also function as nouns or adjectives or adverbs. I see what you are saying. It is a matter of defining a verb as X and these things are exceptions to this rule or being more descriptive and saying a verb usually does X but can also do Y.
Actually, my reason for suggesting that we delete all that is that people will see it anyway in the entries for participle and infinitive.
For example if they go to Mat 1:20 and click on "saying", they will come to lego and see all these links: Verb | Present | Active | Participle | Nominative | Singular | Masculine. Since they have a direct link to Participle, they don't need to read about participles on the verb page.
