Numerical Indeclinable
This is a number.
I don't understand why case, number, and gender show up if these are indeclinable.
See the entry for "two" in Mat 4:18 "He saw two brothers."

The OGNT morphology table shows case, number, and gender for words that are tagged "Numerical Indeclinable."
It is a weird thing. Numbers are not really declined, but they also occur in different cases. Normally the distinction is only present with cases, most frequently gen. and dat. However, I do not know why they include number and gender except for agreement purposes.
Thanks, Drew. That helps. It looks like Strong or someone before him decided to call all cardinal numbers adjectives even though most of them do not decline for case, number, and gender as adjectives do. Then they tagged them for the case, number, and gender that one would expect them to have if such things were actually marked on them.
It looks like 'one' 'three' and 'four' are the only numbers that are always marked for case, number, and gender. In OGNT, these do not have the label "NUmerical Indiclinable (A)."
G1417 δύο'two' is marked for case, number, and gender only twice. These also do not have the label "NUmerical Indiclinable (A)" in OGNT.
It looks like all the other numbers have "NUmerical Indiclinable (A)."
What would you think of changing the explanation of "Numerical Indeclinable" to this?
Or what would you think of asking Darrel to remove the following words in an entry for a number when it has the label "Numerical Indiclinable"?
I like the latter
I emailed the following to Darrell.
When a word in the ULB has the label “ NUmerical Indiclinable (A)," would you be able to remove the following words in the entry for that word? (It would most likely have one from each category.)
Nominative, Accusative, Genitive, Dative, Vocative
Singular, Plural
Masculine, Feminine, Neuter
6/12/23 Replied to Darrel's request for examples.
I expect there to be 474 or 480 instances of it. Here are a few.
