God created angels to serve him. However, Satan did not want to serve God. So he did not honor God. When Satan went against God, some of the angels followed Satan (see: Matthew 25:41; 2 Peter 2:4; Jude 1:6; Revelation 12:9). Because of this, God made them leave heaven. Christianity teaches that demons and evil spirits are the angels who did not honor God.
A GL translator suggested this should say "demons or evil spirits" since they are the same thing.
The ULB has the words demons, evil spirits, and unclean spirits. Are these usually considered to be the same thing?
I found this statement in the spirit (spiritual) article:
Spirit beings who rebelled against God are called demons or evil spirits (see: Luke 7:21).
I think that is a good change.
Done.
