#### Superscription
This psalm is called "a Maschil of David." The word "Maschil" in the original language has caused scholars to have various opinions about its meaning. Some say it means to instruct, while others say that the word is referring to the skill used in creating the psalm. Still others think it means that meditation should be used in reading this psalm.

اس زُبور کو "داود کا ایک مشکِیل" کہا جاتا ہے ۔ لفظ "مشکِیل" اصل زبان میں ہونے کے سبب مفکرین اس کے معنی کے بارے میں مختلف رائے رکھتے ہیں کچھ کہتے ہیں اس کا مطلب ہدایت دینا ہے ،جبکہ دوسرے کہتے ہیں کہ یہ لفظ زُبورکی تخلیق میں استعمال ہونے والی مہارت کی طرف اشارہ کر رہا ہے۔ دیگر کے خیال میں اس کا مطلب ہے کہ اس زُبور کو پڑھنے میں مراقبہ کو استعمال کرنا چاہیے۔
